FAQs
Accessibility
The clinic space is fully accessible. If you have accessibility needs, please include a note when booking and assistance can be provided upon arrival.

Insurance Coverage
Acupuncture sessions may be covered under private or group insurance plans. A PDF receipt will be emailed following your appointment for insurance submission. Please confirm coverage for acupuncture or registered acupuncture services directly with your provider. Direct billing is available for select insurance providers.
Payment
Gui is a cashless practice. Debit and e-transfer are preferred. Credit card payment is also available.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the arms and legs. Shorts or pants that can roll above the knee and a tank top are ideal. A private changing area is available if needed.
What should I expect during treatment?
Initial appointments include a discussion of your health history, current concerns, and overall patterns of health from both a Traditional Chinese Medicine and collaborative care perspective. Treatment may include acupuncture and recommendations related to ongoing care.
Acupuncture needles are sterile, single-use, and typically very thin. Sensations during treatment can vary and may include heaviness, warmth, tingling, or a feeling of movement within the body. Many people experience a sense of rest or relaxation during treatment.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 48 hours notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to the full appointment fee.
